KS2 Cross Country

Lesson: Physical education

It was very exciting to host our first ever sports event at Thorn Grove on Monday, and we got a great turn out from our Year 3, 4 and 5 children. All the children gave it their all and really enjoyed the opportunity to try something different. The grass was long and the field was slightly damp, which gave a true cross country feel! We were very proud of all of our runners and we even won some of the events! A HUGE well done to Eddie in Year 4 for being the fastest boy in Lower Key Stage 2. Our Lower Key Stage 2 girls won the team event. Our Year 5 girls did amazing to win the Upper Key Stage 2 girls event, especially as they were competing with some Year 6 children. A BIG well done to everyone who took part, we are proud of you all!
