Thorn Grove has recently been inspected by Ofsted. The last inspection took place in July 2024 .
The report was overwhelmingly positive, recognising that 'pupils make a positive start to their education at this school. This stems from the high levels of ambition that the school has for pupils’ learning and development.'
As a school, we continue to develop our curriculum to ensure our children develop a rich body of knowledge. We build on prior learning make purposeful connections and focus on the disciplinary skillset needed to understand what makes an effective historian or scientist, for example.
