Remote Education Offer

In response to the ongoing need for flexible learning environments, we have developed a comprehensive Remote Education offer. This initiative aims to ensure continuity of a high quality and diverse education for all pupils.

Our remote education strategy incorporates a range of online platforms that facilitate interactive learning and engagement. Utilising tools such as Google Classroom enables teachers to deliver live lessons, provide recorded lessons, learning resources and slides, and foster collaboration among students.  Commercially available websites will be used to offer support for specific areas of learning and online platforms such as TTRockstars, Oxford Owl, and White Rose Maths Infinity. 

Access to technology is paramount; therefore, we have implemented a scheme to loan devices to families who do not have access to digital devices. Class teachers can be contacted via email to arrange this. 

We recognise that children with particular needs (SEND) may require an adapted approach and or additional support to thrive in a remote learning context.  To facilitate this, we will provide learning resources that support our learners according to their needs.  This will be supported with communication with class teachers and our SENDCo.

To enhance online safety, we prioritise safeguarding protocols, providing guidance for both pupils and parents on responsible online behaviour. 

Teachers will access Google Classroom daily giving feedback via Mote, the use of Rubrics or comments when work is turned in.  Contact will be made with families if there is a lack of engagement or communication. 

Our commitment is to deliver a balanced academic experience, ensuring that every child's educational journey, regardless of their circumstances, is supported and enriched throughout their time in remote learning.
