Tuesday 11th November 2014, year 6 visited United Reform Church in Cheadle Hulme to commemorate Remembrance Day. The children were able to explore an exhibition of war time memorabilia as well as speak to members of the community who shared personal memories of wartime experiences.
Children listened to a short service and participated in two minutes of silent reflection.

The children had a great day out at the Hat Museum in Stockport.
They looked at all of the hats and the machines which were used to make them. They also had an opportunity to make felt-they loved it as it was very messy

This half term we will be learning all about different celebrations from around the world! Please can your child bring in a photograph showing us a type of celebration they have enjoyed in their family life. It could be a wedding, christening, birthday, Diwali, Eid or Christmas celebration! Photograph’s will be shared and displayed on each child’s working wall.
